race, religion, or national origin.

Enterprise
Latchkey will be open from:
6:30 AM till 8:50 AM and
4:10 PM till 6:00 PM

Registration
is $13.00-fullpay, $12.00-reduced and SRS.
Daily Fees
Hours Full Pay Reduced
0-3 $5.00 $4.00
3:01-6 $9.00 $8.00
If more than 3 children from the same
family attend, the third child will be ½ price.
It must be marked on application whether
you are full pay, reduced, or SRS. Otherwise we will put you in
the computer as full pay.
Payment should be made on a weekly
basis, prior to child receiving service. If fees are not paid
before Friday of each week, a late fee of $5.00 will be charged
per family. Continual late payments will result in dismissal
from the
Program.
A $1.00 late fee per minute will be charged when a
child is left after 6p.m.
Fees will be billed according to hours
scheduled on child’s SAP contract.
Families eligible for childcare payments
from SRS must apply in person to the SRS, and present written
agreement from SRS stating the number of hours for which SRS
will pay. (Schools may accept verbal approval from client's
Social Worker by phone.) Families not eligible for subsidized
child care may receive the S.A.P. services on payment of the
fees.
Transportation to and from the center for the purpose of childcare
is the responsibility of the parent.
The
parents will be notified immediately when a child is ill or
injured. If the situation requires emergency medical treatment,
911 will be called. A staff member will accompany the child to
the emergency center.
In
case of fire, children will be escorted from the building as
quickly as possible through the nearest outside door and remain
on the outer perimeter of the building site until danger is
past.
In
case of severe weather or tornado warnings, the children will
report to the
Gym
(which we are based in) a weather radio and flashlights will be
ready to be used.
Children will remain in this location until storm has passed.
In
case of electrical storm, children will be kept off of corded
phones, and away from all windows.
If a
dangerous intruder or a sniper is on or around the school
grounds during S.A.P. hours, children will be asked to stay low,
taken to the gym where all doors will be locked.
Liability Insurance is carried by the school district. Group
Accident Insurance may be purchased by parents through the
school district. Should accidents occur, cost of medical care
will be responsibility of the parents. Our insurance is more of
a secondary care to help with the deductible. Insurance
applications are available in the school office.
Meals
Breakfast
Our
school does have a breakfast program; payment for it is taken
care of through the office. Children taking part of breakfast
will eat at 8:15 AM.
Snack
We
do serve a snack after the children arrive after school. Our
snacks are through a federal program,
therefore all food needs to be eaten at school. We cannot allow
the children to take the food with them.
Behavior expectations of our S.A.P. pupils are the same for as
the regular school days.
1.
Each S.A.P. child will be held responsible for his/her
personal actions. (It is a privilege to be in our program not a
right.)
2.
Parents should and will be involved in assisting the Staff
to affect a meaningful and positive solution to their child's
behavior.
3.
Fighting will not be permitted.
4.
Being disrespectful by words or actions will not be
permitted.
5. Defiance that may threaten others or disrupt the
general discipline of the S.A.P. is not permitted.
6. A student who steals, destroys or defaces property will
be expected to make restitution as part of the penalty for such
actions.

A. Time out of 5 to 10 minutes.
B. Time out with writing of what they did wrong and
listing things they could have done instead.
C. The Director will be notified of repeated violations.
D. Parents shall be informed of
their child’s
repeated misbehavior
by the Latchkey Director.
E. A child may be removed from the program for not
following policies of the program.

Kansas
Certificate of Immunization is required for all children in the
program according to State Law and School Board Policy. These,
along with physical examination records,
will
be reviewed by the school nurses and filed in the pupil's
cumulative folder.
The
"Emergency Care" procedures endorsed for use in the Wichita
Public Schools will be the guidelines used for first aid care.
Parents are required to provide emergency information, including
phone numbers for home, work, cell, and a designated adult who
is willing to accept responsibility in case of sudden illness or
injury. Pupil Information Form (10.20b9s) may be used to gather
information. Parents must sign this form and are responsible
for keeping the information current. The Pupil’s parent will be
notified as soon as possible of any emergency. Parents are
responsible for picking up or arranging to have the pupil picked
up by the designated adult within approximately 30 minutes from
notice. The pupil will be placed in a quiet area under adult
observation until parent or other responsible adult assumes
responsibility. Unless parent is available, SAP staff member
will accompany a pupil sent to the emergency room by ambulance
whenever possible.
Parents are responsible for administering all needed medications
outside of the S.A.P. time. Medication is given at school only
upon written request from both
Lawful custodian and a person who is licensed to practice
medicine and surgery or dentistry in the State of Kansas and is
prescribing the medication. These written requests are required
before administration of any medication is initiated.
Implementation of the request must follow the elementary and
secondary schools accreditation regulations. School personnel
will not be responsible for administering inject-able
medications. SAP employees have received training in medication
procedures and will administer all medications.
