Student pick up and
drop off procedures:
Morning Latchkey
Parents: Before 8:30 AM, parents may use the
bus land in front of the school. You may leave your car in
the lane while you enter the building to sign your child into
latchkey. After 8:30, you will need to park in the lot
because buses will be arriving.
Dropping Students Off
Before School: Parents who drive their children to
school may pull through the drop off lane that surrounds the
parking lot to the north of the building to let students out of
the car. Do not leave your car in the drop off lane.
If you need to enter the building, you should park in the lot.
Students should not arrive at school before 8:50 unless they are
enrolled in latchkey. Students who eat breakfast at school
should not arrive before 8:30. Do not enter the bus
lane in front of the building between 8:30-9:15 AM.
Dropping Off Or Picking
Up Students During School Hours: If it is
necessary to drop off or pick up students during the school day,
park in the lot and come into the office to sign your child in
or out of school.
Picking Up Students
After School: Teacher will escort students to the
sidewalk. You may park in one of the lined spaces in
the lot north of the building and walk to your child's teacher,
or follow the flow of traffic along the sidewalk and pick up
your student when you reach his/her teacher. It is also permissible to park on
the west side of Gold Street.
Do not leave your car sitting
in the drop off lane and never park in the bus lane.
The parking spaces in front of the building are reserved for
handicapped parking. You will receive a ticket for parking
anywhere other than the lined spaces.
Please be courteous and
patient in the parking lot. Remember that the children are
watching. There are around 450 students at Enterprise and
there is not way to avoid some congestion in the parking lot at
the end of the day. By following the procedures outlined
above, you can help insure the safety of all our students. |
